How We Earn Revenue

Mind Your Macro is an independently funded publication. To support our work and keep our content free, we participate in affiliate marketing programs. This page explains how these relationships work and how they affect — and don’t affect — our content.

Some links on this site are “affiliate links.” This means that if you click on a link and take a qualifying action (such as requesting information, opening an account, or making a purchase), we may receive a commission from the company we linked to.

This costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is the same whether you use our affiliate link or go directly to the company’s website.

Which Companies Do We Partner With?

We partner with companies in the following categories:

  • Precious metals dealers and IRA custodians — companies that offer gold, silver, and precious metals investment products
  • Financial services — platforms for buying, selling, or storing physical precious metals
  • Cryptocurrency platforms — exchanges and hardware wallet providers (strictly regulated, compliant platforms only)
  • Financial tools and services — software, research platforms, and educational resources relevant to our readers

We only partner with companies whose products we believe are relevant and potentially valuable to our readers. We do not partner with companies solely because they offer high commissions.

How Affiliate Content Is Identified

Articles containing affiliate links are identified in two ways:

  1. Inline disclosure — a visible notice at the top or bottom of the article stating that it contains affiliate links
  2. This page — this Affiliate Disclosure page, linked from our site footer on every page

Editorial Independence

Our affiliate partnerships do not influence our editorial content. Specifically:

  • We choose topics based on reader interest and newsworthiness, not affiliate availability
  • We publish critical analysis of products and services, including those from affiliate partners
  • We do not guarantee favorable coverage in exchange for affiliate commissions
  • We have declined partnerships with companies that requested editorial control or pre-approval of content
  • Our editorial team operates independently from our business partnerships

If an article recommends a product or service, it is because we believe the recommendation is warranted by our analysis — not because of the commission structure.

FTC Compliance

This disclosure is made in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, specifically 16 CFR Part 255. We are committed to transparency about all material connections between Mind Your Macro and the companies we reference.
